Danby Castle Wedding Photography / Lisa & Kev’s Wedding Photos / North Yorkshire Moors Wedding

Another absolutely fab, fun, fantastic wedding at Danby Castle on the blog! From start to finish I think I had a smile on my face at Lisa and Kev’s wedding, so many awesome people and such a loved up and fun couple to photograph. Danby Castle is one of my favourite venues (and I’m very pleased to be one of their recommended photographers), it always seems to attract couple’s that are looking for a venue that they can tailor to their personalities, and with Lisa and Kev’s rustic vintage ski theme it was clear that they had put so much hard work and thought into tying it all together. From the invitations, the table layouts, right down to the typography style and colours used, everything had been designed from the ground up. From a photographers point of view, this is my idea of heaven, so many great details to photograph and everything just worked so well. The whole wedding day took place in the beautiful countryside of the North Yorkshire Moors, all day long we had blue skies and fluffy white clouds, a perfect day in September! Both Lisa and Kevin got ready in the morning at a converted barn in Castleton, the next village along from Danby, so was easy for me to pop between them both to tell the story from both sides. They hired a suitably coloured VW camper van to take both parties to the church in Glaisdale, then continued the party at Danby Castle, taking in the scenery of the moors along the way.
