One of the best things about photographing weddings, is getting recommendations from friends and family of previous brides and grooms, and getting to see familiar faces again a few months or even years down the line. Especially when you’re able to spend time with such amazing families, I actually had the pleasure of photographing Elaine’s brother, Andrew’s wedding earlier in the year in Clitheroe, and I was looking forward to seeing everyone again. It really is a fantastic feeling to be chosen to photograph the wedding of a relative of a previous bride or groom, everyone is just so relaxed as we all know each other already and the day just flows along. Elaine and Graham held their wedding day at the fab Rudding Park, just outside Harrogate. Definitely one of my favourite places to photograph, and held their wedding ceremony in Rudding Park’s own chapel on the grounds.
The day started in Easingwold at Elaine’s parents house, it was great to get to work with Lauren Sally once again who as always does an incredible job of making the girls look amazing.
You may remember Andrew and Kathryn from their wedding at Mitton Hall earlier in the year.
Sadly, this would be the last time I would get to work with Roger of Reece Wedding Cars as he has now retired, I’ve worked with him loads over the years and you won’t find a more immaculate looking Mark 2 Jaguar on the road!
I love how the moon was in the right spot for the fireworks!
