The Priory Cottages Wedding Photography / Katy & Tom’s Wedding Day / Yorkshire Wedding Photographer

My first wedding at the wonderful Priory Cottages, nestled amongst farmland in North Yorkshire near Wetherby, and what a seriously fun day it was! I knew their wedding was going to be right up my street from the day that Katy and Tom came over for their first meeting, being a fan of F1 and motorsports I was very pleased to discover that they run their own Formula 1 blog (WFT1), and in addition to there being a rather nice Aston Martin on site as a wedding car, Tom had also managed to arrange a Formula 1 simulator for the evening entertainment (complete with actual F1 car to sit in and control!) The sun shone all day and the rapeseed fields were the brightest yellow which made for a lovely backdrop for some portraits. Katy and Tom are self confessed gaming geeks and asked if we could do some kind of ‘Street Fighter’ special power move shots, these were great fun to do and I’m really pleased with the results, top marks to all the guys and girls for having patience with me to get it right! Aisling & James’ Wedding Day / The Merchant Adventurers’ Hall Wedding Photography / York Wedding Photographer

James and Aisling’s wedding day was an absolute joy to photograph, an amazing couple and a fun bunch of friends and family too! The day was filled with laughter from start to finish. The wedding took place in my home city of York at The Merchant Adventurers’ Hall in the centre of town, a very popular venue for me and a very stunning one at that! Sun Pavilion Wedding Photography / Helen & Alex’s Wedding Day / Harrogate Wedding Photographer

A very emotional and intimate wedding at The Sun Pavilion in Harrogate. The day began at The Crown Hotel in the centre of Harrogate where I joined Helen and her bridesmaids whilst they got ready to head off for the short trip to the Sun Pavilion. A day of sunshine and showers was forecast and boy did we get some downpours! Thankfully the sun came out just as I hot footed it from the Crown to the Sun Pavilion to join Alex and the guests. True to its name, the Sun Pavilion looks incredible on a sunny day (and even on an overcast one!) The light shines through from every angle and it is always a pleasure to photograph there with so much natural light, and even outdoor undercovered areas which makes it a great venue for all weathers! With Alex being a singer-songwriter, I knew he would have a few surprises up his sleeve, and he didn’t disappoint!

Sandburn Hall Wedding Photography / Kate & Louis’ Wedding Day / York Wedding Photographer

A gorgeous wedding from April at the stunning Sandburn Hall near York. One of my favourite venues in the area with it’s beamed barn style ceiling, always a great setting for a rustic wedding! I had my good pal Paul Stott (of Stott and Atkinson Photography) along with me for most of the day to cover the guys getting ready in the morning and to cover all angles during the wedding. I joined Kate at her parents house in York in the morning.  Kate’s dad provided the comedy entertainment throughout the day!Meanwhile over at Kate and Louis’ house, Paul joined the guys whilst they were getting readyAn impromptu Salsa lesson provided the evening entertainment
